Stylist at Trevor Sorbie Brighton Kelly Caplin has just ran two marathons. And we use the term ‘just’ very lightly – the two marathons were just a week apart.
Raising money for the Royal Marsden Hospital, Kelly, who counts Sally Gunnell among her clients, ran the Brighton Marathon on April 18 in 4 hours 1 minute, followed by the London Marathon on April 24 in 4 hours 17 minutes.
Kelly said: “I started running 2 years ago with a few guys from the salon, Shaun, Cassie, Spencer & Kate. We all completed the Brighton half marathon, from then I was hooked.
I found London the hardest marathon as it was so hot and very busy, but to complete 2 marathons in 2 weeks was an amazing achievement, and I now feel the buzz all over again, I can’t wait to do them next year. I’m really pleased to have raised over £2000 for Royal Marsden.”
Salon Director Kate said, “We’re all so proud of Kelly, and we shared her achievements with our clients by running a raffle prize draw in the salon, the prize being lots of Trevor Sorbie goodies.”
